Grown in Singapore.Stated plainly.
Nosh Produce is an indoor farm supplying edible flowers, microgreens and herbs to Singapore's kitchens. This is how our produce is grown, powered and delivered — each claim listed with its basis and its current status.
Our position
Most of our advantage is structural.
We grow indoors, in Singapore, close to the kitchens we supply. That means short distances, tight control over what goes into the crop, and produce cut to order rather than grown to sit. Those aren't marketing choices — they're how the farm is built.
We hold one independent certification today and are working toward the next. Where a claim is a current practice rather than a certified one, we label it that way. Nothing on this page is something we can't back if you ask.
The register
Every claim, with its basis and status.
Grown in Singapore, on an SFA-licensed farm.
Certified under the Singapore Food Agency's SG Fresh Produce scheme (1-star) — verified local origin.
No synthetic pesticides.
A controlled indoor environment removes most of the pest pressure that drives spraying in open-field growing.
Low water use.
Indoor growing recirculates water and uses a fraction of what comparable open-field cultivation requires.
Cut to order, to minimise waste.
We grow against confirmed orders rather than to forecast, which reduces unsold produce and spoilage.
Rooftop solar offsets part of our growing energy.
On-site panels feed the farm's power load; the grid supplies the balance.
Deliveries by electric vehicle.
Last-mile delivery around Singapore runs on EVs rather than diesel.
Singapore Good Agricultural Practices (SG GAP).
An audited farm-management certification, and the next credential we're pursuing.
What the statuses mean
We use three, and only three.
Independently audited and certified by a third party. Evidence is a certificate.
A current, operating practice at the farm that we can substantiate on request.
Committed and underway, but not yet certified. We won't claim it as done.
For tenders and procurement
The short version, in one paragraph.
Nosh Produce is a Singapore-based indoor farm supplying edible flowers, microgreens and herbs. Our produce is grown locally — certified under the SFA SG Fresh Produce scheme (1-star) — in a controlled indoor environment with no synthetic pesticides, low water use, and cut-to-order harvesting to minimise waste. Rooftop solar offsets part of our growing energy, and deliveries are made by electric vehicle. We are working toward Singapore Good Agricultural Practices (SG GAP) certification. Claims stated as current practice can be substantiated on request.
A note on how we talk about this: sustainability covers a lot of ground, and much of it depends on measurement we're still building. We've chosen to list what we do specifically, rather than describe ourselves broadly. If a claim here matters to your sourcing decision and you'd like the evidence behind it, ask us.
