Recipe: Cucumber Dill Sandwich

Whip up a batch of delicious cucumber dill sandwich to satisfy your cravings for a light lunch or an afternoon appetizer. The recipe is incredibly simple—crunchy, thinly sliced cucumbers and flavorful fresh dill placed delicately over baguette toast slathered in cream cheese. A refreshing, delightful combination!

English cucumbers tend to be less watery, making them perfect for sandwiches! If you want to use regular cucumber, scoop the seeds out so that the sandwich will absorb less moisture.

Ingredients:
yields - 10 small toasts | prep time - 10 mins 

  • 1 full baguette, sliced into smaller pieces
  • 1/4 English cucumber, sliced
  • 80g of cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp of dill, about 5 sprigs
  • kosher salt
  • black pepper

 

Instructions:

    1. Preheat sliced toasts in the microwave for about 5 minutes.
    2. Mix cream cheese with dill and season with salt and pepper. Spread it over the toast.
    3. Add cucumber slices and enjoy!
